I try to be transparent in my pricing. I quote for written jewelry appraisals. 

 

Elaborate jewelry with many gemstones or diamonds cost depends on time involved. 

If in question call, email to describe or send a picture for exact quote.

Cost single or first item $125.00

Second plus per item $110.00, includes diamond solitaires 1.99 carat and under

Soldered sets additonal $30.00

Large diamond solitaires per piece of jewelry

2.00-3.99 carat $175.00 

4.00-9.99 carat $350.00

10.00 carat or larger $500.00

Pair of earrings or single pendant necklace are considered one piece

​

​

$180.00 hour rate, or part of hour used, minimum $85.00 appointment

​

Any time occurred after completed written appraisals is at $180.00 hour rate

​

Updated Cost for prior Gems Jewelry and Appraisals Only

Within five years, cost $70.00 each or 60% of current rate.

After five years 75% current rate.

Clients required to bring my prior Gems Jewelry and Appraisals for updated cost.

No alterations in jewelry for updated cost.

Name, address change (when applicable) $30.00 per one copy and pdf
